The Province ePaper app good for
App works like advertised but please fix icon on iPhone 4S, its double the size compared to regular icons. Also tried to put in folder but app disappears until you reboot phone. Other than that surprisingly easy to read on iPhone screen.
Thank you for updating and making the app not freeze anymore. Can finally enjoy reading the paper on my iPad again.
Some bad moments
Didnt know there have been upgrades, apparently there were, as per above review. Having same problem as above, subscription error yet theres no problem charging me monthly. Getting tired of the hassles with this app, who wants to start their day off angry they cant access what theyve paid for.
Nothing worse than paying for a subscription and the it freezes on one of the intrusive ads (such as the Modello ad). I will be cancelling my subscription because of this.
The iOS 7 version took seven months to update and fix crashes and bugs. Now that iOS 8 is here it has gone two steps back.
Constantly freezes and has to be reset just to turn a page. Sine iOS 8 the auto-downloads fail every time.
Been a Province subscriber for decades and this poor app support has me considering a cancellation.
The app works fine in general. I also find comments tedious to display. My main complaint is that the app does not free up memory when older papers are deleted. I have to delete the app and reload it to free up memory. I tried reporting this on app support and it cant find the server. This program needs some work!
